• During visit of the ISS work at Gudvela, it was observed that the RHS A2 body wall shuttering is in progress up to level 159.50 m. The upstream (U/s) flank wall and wing wall have been completed in all respects.
On the downstream (D/s) side, the wing wall has been completed up to RL 154.15 m, and the flank wall shuttering has been completed for the final lift up to RL 159.50 m. The flared-out walls on both U/s and D/s sides have been completed up to RL 156.40 m.
Further, the placing of CC blocks on the D/s side is presently in progress and is being carried out as per the approved drawings.
Further suggested the site engineers of the agency to submit drawings and design of approach road, affix bund and sluice gate required u/s side on 03.02.2026

(ii) Rigid n smooth shuttering with 75mm clear cover using cover blocks of 75mm are done.
(iii) Placing of expansion joint material along the EJ between U/S right flank wall & abutment wall is done as per approved drawing n design.
(iv) The concrete surface is cleaned properly through air water jet and passed by SE, KID, Bhawanipatna for placing with RCC M25A20 grade on 03.02.2026
